Hi everyone! I just got back from a 12 day trip to Thailand and of course I had to share a few pictures. I went to Bangkok and Phuket. Bangkok is the city center with a lot of high rises, hustle, and bustle. Phuket is a quiet beach scene with amazing views and a slower pace. Phuket is about an hour plane ride away from Bangkok. If you’re looking to go somewhere for a refresh, some relaxation or unique experiences to open your eyes to a different way of living, then Thailand is the place to be. I had an amazing time. The people were friendly, there was an endless list of things to do and see, and I learned a lot about a culture different from mine. A perfect recipe for a great trip!

It was a little rainy during this trip, but that didn’t stop me from exploring. One day, I went to the beach and was enjoying playing in the ocean’s waves. What started off as a drizzle, turned into heavy and plump rain drops. My friend and I gathered our things as quickly as we could and ran for cover under the lifeguard’s tent. We ended up chatting with some others that had also sought refuge. We waited there until our ride came to pick us up, but it was nice to have that moment of connection after disarray.
